The 2022 hurricane season has been quiet to date; however, things may begin to change soon with the multiple tropical disturbances swirling in the Atlantic Ocean. Hurricane season runs June 1st through November 30th, which means that weddings taking place almost half of the year are at risk. The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) is calling for another above-average season forecasting 14 to 21 named storms (winds of 39 mph or higher), of which 6 to 10 could become hurricanes (category 3, 4 or 5; with winds of 111 mph or higher).
